About Me
I came into this industry by sheer accident when a hairstylist surprised me by giving me a fun new haircut that left me feeling enthusiastic and excited for life. That feeling gave me confidence to go out and do things for myself I normally wouldn’t do. I thought if I could do this for people, I could have a great impact on their lives and the lives of the people around them.
I am a creative person at heart and the thought of having a regular 9-5 job seemed so dull and uninspiring to me. I knew I needed to create wealth for myself and by that I don’t just mean money. I needed to be able to have the freedom to call my own shots. In 2008 I decided to enroll in beauty school.
After working behind the chair for 12 years, I have realized that trends come and go and are all byproducts of classic hairstyles. So I have taken the time to develop my own unique vision for each individual client. I take pride in everything I do whether its shampooing hair, sweeping or answering the phone because I believe my job starts when I walk through that door. When I came into the industry, I had the intention to make every person who sat in my chair feel beautiful, confident and empowered. People sometimes don’t realize how important our job is to the people we come in contact with. We are there for our clients at the most important times of their lives. Holidays, weddings, graduations and many other milestones.
When I’m not behind the chair, you could find me spending time with family, cooking up some delicious food with my guy or spending time in nature. I enjoy reading books on personal development, practicing yoga and meditation and have recently found a great love for gardening!
To me presence is everything, that being said I will always suggest a style for you that will fit perfectly with your lifestyle and will age nicely so you will continue to love your hair for weeks after!
